The Riverfront Development Corporation (RDC), in conjunction with the City of Memphis, invites the public to provide ideas and guidance for a comprehensive land use study of Mud Island. The study will focus on the area south of the AW Willis Bridge
and past the new RiverTown residential development that includes vacant land around and beneath the I-40 bridge, a maintenance compound, parking lot, the former Belle
Pavilion, and other areas of Mud Island River Park. In total, this land represents a special place that other cities don’t have, and RDC wants to make it the best it can be for all Memphians, their families, and future generations.
